No extra charge will be payable should a hire date need to be changed provided that there is availability on the requested date.

6) How many passengers can be carried?

We have a maximum capacity of 55 passengers per double deck bus regardless of its seating capacity.  This ensures that space is always available for items of luggage and one folded pushchair (we cannot carry more than one folded pushchair).

Seating capacities for our two coaches are shown on the Our Buses page.

7) Do you do late hires?

We do not undertake hires after 6pm.

8) Can we decorate the bus with ribbons?

Usually when you hire a bus for a wedding we will do all this for you to your requirements as standard, if you want to trim the bus yourself we will arrange for the bus to arrive at the pickup point early for you to put your decorations on yourself.

9) Can we have a personalised destination blind?

Sorry but we do not do personalised blinds, on one of our buses that we can put wedding special on the front blind and other buses just have special on front blind.

10) Can we have a conductor?

All hires include a driver and a conductor; it is the conductor’s responsibility to ensure the safety of passengers.  Nobody other than the conductor is allowed to ring the bell as this could cause an accident if the bus were to move off while passengers are still boarding and also can cause confusion to the driver when the vehicle is in motion.

11) How fast are the buses?

On the open road our buses will cruise at a maximum of around 35-40mph, we work out the route timings at an average speed of 20mph.

12) Can the buses carry pushchairs and wheelchairs?

Limited space means only one folded pushchair can be stowed safely under the stairs.

Due to their age the buses are not wheelchair accessible though wheelchair users are more than welcome provided there is assistance available to help them on and off the bus.  During the journey passengers are not allowed to sit in a wheelchair on the bus and it must be stowed under the stairs.

13) What events and occasions do you not cover?

Regretfully the following are not covered, football matches, hen & stag parties, pub crawls and hires that finish after 6pm.

14) Can we drink alcohol on the bus?

Sorry but alcohol is not allowed on the bus due to legal requirements.

15) Bus Selection

Unfortunately, due to breakdowns and some maintenance schedules it is not always possible to guarantee the vehicle you have chosen. Therefore a replacement vehicle of similar size and specification will be provided in place of the chosen vehicle. We will do our very best to make sure it is the same type of vehicle.
